T. Jungwirth (45) has received his M.S. degree in physics in 1991 and PhD. degree in condensed matter physics (both) at the Charles University, Czech Republic. He passed the postdoctoral fellow in Indiana University (USA) in 1997-1999 and research fellow at the University of Texas (USA) in 2000-2002. From 2004 he is the profesor at the University of Nottingham (UK)
